For those who love to shop, there are several fun ways to do it at ZZYZAX Petaluma. You can "Window Shop" just like you'd do in your own hometown—strolling down the street looking into windows. If you see something interesting, simply click on the window and information about the merchant or the merchandise will appear before your very eyes. Another cool way to shop is to actually go into the merchant's store and look around using Live Picture's Technology. Items for sale are on display. With some merchants, like "More Than A Mail Box", you can even take a tour of the shop and see how the merchandise is actually made.

Petaluma's unique Victorian iron front buildings draw people from all over the world, including the movie industry. We have assembled a classic collection of old photos to show you our past, and its architectural heritage. While touring our lovely town, you may stumble upon an interesting old building and wish to know more about. Simply click on it, and we'll give you information about its history and architecture.

Because Petaluma is such a cool place, Hollywood has made a number of movies here including American Graffiti, Basic Instinct, Peggy Sue Got Married, Inventing the Abbots, and Phenomenon. Numerous TV commercials have also been shot here.
