Architecture The original McNear Building is one of Petaluma's finest ironfront buildings. The 1886 building is in the High Victorian Italianate style, common among the city's commercial buildings. The bulk of the building is of brick construction. Details on the window headers include twenty-six mustachioed men's faces.
