Downtown Tour Closed

Sorry, but this function was not resurrected...

Part of the ZZYZAX virtual vacation experience included lots of way to make this vacation personal. This included things like the guestbook, merchant bulletin boards, journals, and this option, guided tours.

There was one guided tour pre-packaged, which took the visitor through the Points of Interest stops. The tour was narrated, and we wanted to give the visitor the virtual experience of taking a tour bus around Petaluma.

The really fun part was that the visitor could build their own tour, too! And share the different parts of the web site with a friend. Each stop pointed to a particular page of interest on the ZZYZAX Petaluma site, with a note from the visitor who created the tour.

The idea was to give visitors a fun way to share their own experience. And we wouldn't mind the "word-of-mouth" advertising, either.

Unfortunately, this portion of ZZYZAX was never completed well enough to release. So it remains asleep for another day...
